the continental drift is pushing me away further from your touch and warmth
shifting plates of rock moving land and love across a distant mass of sea and dirt
like a melody i lack a longing but not attached to a song that floods my thoughts with whoa

dying i am standing without my legs reaching without my arms but only with my eyes to see you

i have distance in my lungs and some words i cant speak out yeah im sinking into doubt

the continental drift is pushing you away further from my touch and warmth
and as i swim through quite words and rhymes of hopes to find some solid ground to walk upon
cause this ink is dripping in to a ocean of metaphors and the waves crush down on me so hard

dying i am becomming like the glass sinking past the clear
transparent so my eyes cant see you
i have distance in my lungs
and a song i drown out
im sinking into doubt

i tried walking towards you but i couldnt see the ground below my feet or the street
